General Incorporated Association DEEP DIVE (hereinafter “DEEP DIVE”) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a partnership with Sakana AI, Inc. (hereinafter “Sakana AI”) concerning AI-powered information analysis.

Background and Purpose of the Partnership
As an AI development company founded in Japan, Sakana AI is engaged in the research, development, and real-world implementation of cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies. It holds particular strength in advanced AI technologies, including large language models, and is pursuing innovative approaches in the fields of analyzing complex, large-scale data and supporting decision-making.
DEEP DIVE is a private intelligence organization that primarily conducts information analysis and dissemination in the field of security. Its particular strength lies in analysis that leverages diverse open-source data, including satellite imagery. In recent years, the volume and complexity of information being handled have been increasing rapidly across a wide range of domains, not limited to the security field, creating a need for dramatically more sophisticated analytical capabilities powered by AI technologies.
Through this partnership, the two parties aim to achieve integrated analysis of a broad range of information and advanced decision-making support by combining DEEP DIVE’s data and specialized expertise with Sakana AI’s proprietary AI technology. The parties will also engage in continuous dialogue while advancing joint research towards the refinement of analytical methods and the implementation of AI technology.
Future Initiative and Outlook
DEEP DIVE will cooperate in improving the accuracy of AI-powered information analysis, aiming to accelerate information analysis through the adoption of AI technology and ultimately to achieve near-real-time analysis. By advancing cross-cutting analysis of various open-source information, DEEP DIVE will enable Pattern of Life (PoL) detection through continuous situational awareness, as well as the detection of anomalous events that deviate from established PoL, and will work to build a foundation for high-precision activity analysis.
DEEP DIVE will drive the advancement of private-sector intelligence capabilities in Japan and, through the results of that work, contribute to advancing the debate on the security environment surrounding Japan.

In case of discrepancy between the Japanese version of media releases and any translated version, the Japanese version shall prevail.
